There's got to be a better term

When you're in your thirties, how the hell are you supposed to refer to the person that you're involved with?
Girlfriend? What are we in high school?
Fiancee?(sp?) Well, it's not like I've proposed, so that's inaccurate.
Significant Other? For reasons I don't understand that term makes me want to hurl.
Lady, old lady, sqeeze? Some guys can pull those off. I'm not one of them.
I suppose I could just refer to her by name but, unless I'm speaking to someone who already knows us, the relationship would'nt be readily apparent. So come on there's got to be a better term. Right?..........I should probably just marry her.

Now what

OK, so I start I blog so I can post a comment at Althouse and I spend so much time trying to figure out a cool creative blog name that isn't already taken that I forget what the hell I wanted to say. Shitty. Not only that but all the cool names seem to be taken. Or maybe I just suck at making up names. Anyway, now what am I supposed to do with this thing?
